Summary: Computer was dead, could not collect a lot of data.
| March 8, 2001 Here is the report from my trip to the site on (Liukang Xu). Vaira Ranch: Arrived at 1015 am Weather: 100% overcast. Photovotaic controller readout as ; Battery volts 13.0 Array current 6.6 load curent 0.9. Found computer was dead, after open the file it died on DOY 64 (March 5 around 1730). Open the CR23x file after got back the lab, the voltage was less than 11.2 V just before the computer shutoff. (Ted said it has to be something wrong with the power system, the voltage drop should be that fast). Check the CR10x and CR23x. Download raw data, flux and met data. replaced li-cor 75H-0073 with newly calibrated 75B-0065. start sonic, w u v Ts q and CO2 all looks good. finished at 11:30 am |
