Summary: Grass has germinated, recent rain, swapped 7500s, swapped tower computer, swapped three Vaisala probes, standard fieldwork and data collection.

Phenology: grasses had germinated for a while; the length of leaves were about 5 cm long; some green oak leaves still on.

Summary

  1. Joe swapped memory cards of CR1000s at Vaira; I did at Floor and Tower.
  2. Joe installed a new PC at Tonzi Tower.
  3. Joe calibrated 3 sets of IRGA Li-7500 and swapped those on the three towers.
  4. Checked and downloaded winflux and met data from PC at Tower, Floor.
  5. The IRGA for the CO2 profile system didn’t work properly. Joe took it back to the lab.
  6. Joe swapped soil CO2 probes at Tonzi and Vaira; details in his notes.
  7. Download Ana’s wind profile and temperature measurements.
  8. Took spectrum measurement at Vaira (incoming light was instable due to the movement of clouds).
  9. Read dendrometers
  10. Measured soil moisture
  11. Measure groundwater well

Vaira_Grass Site

  1. Downloaded Phenocam images.
  2. Swapped Li-7500s. sn 0976 off, sn 0041 on
  3. Swapped the memory cards of CR1000.

  1. Checked the fans of air temp and relative humidity sensors at Vaira. YES!

  1. Checked levels of Radiation sensors, clear up surfaces.YES!
  2. Checked rain gage, make sure not clogged. YES!
  3. Closed gate and set up fence. YES!

Tonzi_Tower Site

  1. Fence and gate power: broken; fixed.
  2. Swapped Li-7500s. sn 0418 off sn 0035 on.
