Summary: Wasps in the box, services water sensors, low signal strength on 7500
Mayberry 2015-10-29 I arrived about 9:00 with Sara. It was cool and breezy with a clear blue sky. There was a chance of rain yesterday, but it doesn’t look like there was any. The roads were dry and dusty. The wetland is definitely yellowing and cattail fluff is in the air and fouling the open paths. The box was still full of wasps. Most of them looked dead or dormant, so maybe these were left over from last time. I didn’t see any way for new ones to get in. The 7700 wash box also had wasps in it. I put a couple of moth balls in each box to see if that discourages future occupation. We serviced the water sensors putting new desiccant into the miniDots and greasing their o-rings. The 7700 read: 2.00ppm CH4, 35.1RSSI – 72 after cleaning. The 7500 read: 470.6ppm CO2, -192.8mmol/m3 H2O, 48.2SS, 20.78C, 101.62kPa After cleaning: 410.0ppm CO2, 528mmol/m3 H2O, 102.2SS The water level is still low, but maybe a bit higher than last time. |
