Summary: The field is not flooded, wasps in the box, standard data collection, changed clock and bandwidth on 7550.
Twitchell 2015-10-15 I arrived about 10:40 with Patty and Ian. It was warm and sunny with little to no wind but some clouds to the east. The field is not flooded and might not be because the soil is high in salinity. This box was also full of wasps. These were a little more active than those at Mayberry but still not aggressive and pretty much left on their own with the door open. I plugged the cable ports with putty before leaving. The 7700 read: 2.28ppm CH4, 40.8RSSI – 73.75 after cleaning, 18% optics RH The 7500 read: 386.0ppm CO2, 739mmol/m3 H2O, 74.4SS, 24.17C, 101.77kPa After cleaning: 406ppm CO2, 679mmol/m3, 80.8SS The 7550 clock was off: at 9:51 I reset it from 9:45 The 7550 bandwidth setting was 5Hz, I changed it to 10Hz since we are collecting at 20Hz The well is still dry but the water level sensor was reading 0.11psi. I pulled and cleaned some mud out of its cap. Afterwards it was reading -0.04psi. The height to the eddy cross bar was 257cm and the sonic heading is 20 degrees magnetic. |
