Summary: Finished barbed wire fence, buried remains of dead calf, improved solar panel position.
| Vaira 2014-10-07 I arrived about 8:00am. It was clear, sunny and warm with no wind. The damp places from last week are now dry. Some grass has germinated in protected places to got a little extra water like at the base of the solar panels. I finished stringing two strands of barbed wire at 16 and 32 inches above the ground. The fence looks pretty good and seems to have kept the cows out for a week. I dug out the base of the main solar panels and moved them out of the way so I could bury the remains of the dead calf. Then I put the solar panels back putting their base on boardwalks to keep them out of the dirt. I brought in the fence charger and the battery. |
