Summary: Standard field work, ground is very wet, swapped CO2 profile inlet filters.

I arrived about 10:00am with Siyan. It was cool and overcast. The overcast started to break up and a little breeze stated before we left. The ground was very wet with puddles and rivulets. There was some water in Tonziâ€™s pond. The grasses looked a little better here probably due to the protection of the trees and their litter. We saw a couple of cows late in the day but not the hungry herd from the last two times.

Standard fieldwork.

I rearranged the railing at the top of the tower so the radiation boom folds better. I replaced the filters in all of the CO2 profile inlets. The top on was not as dirty as the lower ones. The second inlet filter from the bottom was loose and had some water in it. I need to order a new CO2 tank for the profile system. And I need to order some more filters.

I serviced the z-cams.

I fixed some of the wires on the main tower fence removing the major patches and leaving some spare wire in the plastic tool box.

Cows got inside the floor fence. Siyan fixed the fence and I found no damage.

I found the CF card that Siyan dropped from the tower top weeks ago.

The IRGAs had water drops on their windows. I cleaned them off.

Tower computer is running out of disk space. I remove 2009 data, started zipping 2010 data and removed old Phenocam images.
