West Pond
2014-01-10

We arrived around 13:30 PST. It was sunny, calm, and warm. The inlet was running weakly and the water under the tower lower than usual. We downloaded data and cleaned the instruments.

They have started digging out the East Pond for seed material for the East End Wetland. About 40ft of the south of the pond has been dug up. Looks like accretion of about 18 inches comparing boardwalk covered areas with open areas.

7500 readings:
CO2 = 408 ppm (414 after cleaning)
H2O = 420 mmol m-3 (same after cleaning)
signal strength = 92.5% (96.4% after cleaning)
t = 16.6 C
p = 102.4 kPa
sos = 323 m s-1

7700 readings:
CH4 = 2.1 ppm (same after cleaning)
RSSI = 32 (84 after cleaning)
Reservoir was full.

MET looked good.
