I arrived about 10:45 with Siyan. It was clear, sunny and mild with little to no wind. The pond is completely dry â€“ no visible water. The grass seems to be doing a little better here. The ground and litter doesnâ€™t seem a dry and brittle as it does in summer. There must be enough dew to make things a little damp and sustain the grass.

The tram was not running. It was stopped at the end of the track and the battery was at 3V. Time for a new battery.

The pump on the CO2 profile didnâ€™t seem to be working correctly. I took it apart and reset its gaskets. It seemed better. I calibrated the system. The cal was 12-17-2013, T = 52.2C, P = 97.9. Zero was off by +64ppm, span was off by -293ppm. But it seemed to calibrate fine. The N2 is at 1200psi and the 404.02ppm CO2 in air is as 500psi.

I tried to make it easier to fold the radiometer boom at the tower top. One of the bolts with wing-nut that clamps a bar to the tower is stripped and is very difficult to turn. If I can move the bar the radiometers will fold in without banging into things.

I replaced the Teflon filter on the LED sensor. A bird has pecked and broken the filter for the second time. This time I glued a piece of glass on top on the new Teflon filter. I cleaned the radiometers.

The fan of the HMP45 at the top of the tower was dead. I replaced it.

Two of the lower HMP45s have not been working well. I checked the wiring and found no problems. I removed the second HMP45 from the bottom to test in the lab.

The z-cams did not take any photos due the memory cards not being locked. Siyan serviced the cameras and fixed the cards.

The tower computer clock was about 5 minutes slow and the Floor computer clock was less than minutes slow. I reset the tower computer but did not change the Floor computer. Both the tram and tower met check their clocks at 10 minutes after midnight.
