Summary: Bumped flux system to 20 Hz. All well.
| Mayberry 2013-07-31 We arrived about 10:25 PDT. It was breezy, sunny, and cool. The site looks the same, very green with a bit of standing old plant material mixed throughout. Dennis and I attended to the tower. Dennis cleverly re-mounted the flange for the magnetic wireless MET antenna on the screw for the HMP45 mount while I bumped the flux system to 20 Hz (downloading the flux data first). The sonic was already communicating in serial at 57600 baud, I just adjusted the measurement rate to 20 Hz. I confirmed all values to be updating at 20 Hz in the output file. Sara and Yanel went out to the Tule tower, cleaned the instruments, and grabbed water samples. 7500 readings: CO2: 385 ppm (same after cleaning) H2O: 660 mmol m-3 (same after cleaning) signal strength = 96.65% (96.73% after cleaning) p = 101.8 kPa t: 19.8 C sos = 344.5 m s-1 Current 7700 readings: CH4 = 1.92 ppm (1.9 after cleaning) RSSI = 14.7 (88 after cleaning) The reservoir was full. Topped off to 100%. MET looked good. |
