West Pond: 2013-06-20 09:40:00 (DOY 171)
Author: Sara Knox
Others: Dennis

Summary: Closed 7550 box. Water levels low again. We Were only able to take water samples at pier F.

Dennis and I arrived around 9:40am PDT. It was sunny and warm with a light breeze. The road leading up to the tower was being torn up to install pipes to deliver water to the new wetland. Therefore we wont be able to drive right up to the site for the next little while, but its easy to walk around the other side of the wetland to get to the tower.

Dennis closed the 7550 box and said that there were fewer ants in there now. He left all the ant traps.

The inlet was not running and water levels were low. We told Jim when we saw him later that day. Water levels were too low to take samples at Pier A, but Dennis and I managed to take water samples at Pier F. After going to West Pond, Dennis and I met up with the DWR group.
