We arrived about 9:00 PDT. It was cool and breezy. The rice continues to grow nicely. The field is flooded and the broad leafed weeds are dying from the herbicide. Iryna, Dillon, and Jenny joined us at the site to take LAI measurements. Sara went off with them for the day while Joe, Dennis, Laurie and I set up the alfalfa tower. We picked up the AC power line for use at the Alfalfa Tower and stopped at the trailer for scaffolding, batteries and solar panel.

We returned about 14:50 PDT to collect data and clean the flux instruments. We also attempted a DO probe install but it was giving funky readings so we pulled it for testing.

The 7700 read 1.9ppm CH4 and 29 RSSI, after cleaning the RSSI was 67. At 13:56PST we changed the time zone on both the 7550 box and the 7700 to Etc/GMT-8 and restarted the instruments. The 7700 reservoir was full.

The 7500 read 400ppm CO2, 395mmol/m3 H2O and 6.7AGC after cleaning.

We still need to update the firmware on the 7550 box and check the coefficients especially the pressure sensor and the new signal strength values.
