I arrived about 10:30 with Cove. It was clear, sunny and cool with a breeze from the north. The field to the west is too soggy to walk on. The field to the east is dryer and the better way to walk to the tower. The ditch between the fields is full to the brim.

Cove checked on the auto camera. He thought it was not running again, but when he checked the card, the images were current up to a few minutes before we arrived. So we reinserted the card and set it up again.

The sonic was running when we got there. I checked all the wires and only the screw on the serial ground at the data logger tighten up a little, everything else was good. We removed the CF card and copied the data before uploading a new program. The new program tries to record the WMP diagnostic message. I think I messed this up. In the slow table, I replaced the sos with the diagnostic value, but the fast table should be okay. We might need to swap the sonic next time out.

The tops of all the soil temperature profile sticks had been broken off. There was a duck hunting blind out this way, maybe the duck hunters did it. Two of the profiles were okay, but the one to the north had the top TC exposed to the sun. We pulled the profile, reattached the TCs to a stick and reinstalled it.

Cove cleaned the solar panels.
