I arrived about 11:40 with Cove. It was clear, sunny and cool with a light breeze. The cows were hanging out near the tower where they had recently been fed. The field is nearly barren except for the close cropped grass. The water in the ditch along the road and under the bridge is very low.

We check the data and all looked well. The soil heat flux plate (#2) just outside the fence to the south was reading high, but the ground there was getting a lot of direct sun because the cows have eaten all the standing vegetation.

The LGR was reading 139Torr so we did not adjust it. But in slow flow mode it was reading about 30Torr and falling. Next time out we should try swapping it with the one in the lab.
