Summary: 7700 wash tube sprung a leak - fixed. Data collected, water samples.

I arrived about 11:30 with Jaclyn and Sara. It was warm and sunny with a light breeze. The wetland is beginning to turn green again. Jaclyn saw lots of new cattails coming up in areas of shallow water.

The LI7700 wash reservoir was almost empty. I refilled it. While we were getting the netbook hooked up we observed the LI7700 trying to wash its mirror and noticed that the tube from the reservoir to the mirror had sprung a leak near the fitting on the reservoir. The tubing looks like it is degrading in the sun. I cut a length of tubing off and reattached it to the reservoir.

The LI7700 RSSI was about 6%. Cleaning the bottom mirror didn’t improve it much but cleaning the top mirror brought it up to about 70%.
