Summary: Installed CO2 probes in ground at Vaira, Martin doing tree scans at Tonzi, Laurie taking soil cores.

Phenology: just after almost a-week-long rain event; green grasses; oak leaves come out <10%. Ameriflux Steven ran calibration station at Vaira. Martin and the student took LiDar scan at Tonzi. Laurie and the student took soil cores for soil C/N.

Summary

Cables of Vaisala probes are finally connected to the probes at Vaira. The probes and thermal couples are installed at the three locations. Joe fixed the power problem.

Check MD-9 system connections YES! CG_out=-INF. The problem fixed after Joe disconnected and reconnected the I/O cable.

Check rain gage, make sure not clogged. YES!
Closed gate and set up fence. YES!

Is the pump running‌ Joe changed the setting. Now the sound is quieter.
