Summary: Rebuilt Floor solar battery pack. Replaced Floor computer.

I arrived with Siyan about 9:00PST. It was clear and sunny, warm in the sun, but relatively cool in the shade. There was only a little breeze below the canopy, but it was kind of gusty at the top of the tower. The trees had some brown leaves. There were pock marks in the dust like there had been a very limited thunder shower.

The floor computer was hung up again in boot. I disconnected all the Floor solar batteries and let them sit a little while. Three batteries dropped to about 9V while the rest (seven) held strong above 12V. I replaced the wooden base and moved the seven good batteries a little further under the panels to get more shade. I added DI water to the seven good batteries, some were very low. Then I reconnected the good batteries to the solar system. The manufacturing date on the batteries ranged from Jul to Dec 2007.

The computer could not find its hard drive to reboot. So I swapped it out with the one I brought. I had to recreate all data logger connections and setup winflux. The data logger connection seemed to work and back data was collected from three of the five before the MD9 stopped responding. Winflux seemed to be running well. I tried to set up the daily renaming of the data logger files but ran out of time to make that work.

I removed a termination from the MD9 network where to old sap flow station was to the west of the Floor Tower.

I added a strainer to the tipping bucket in the soil CO2 enclosure.

The radiation sensors at the top on the tower looked clean. The solar panels looked a dirty.

The CO2 profile pump was running as was the tram. The PAR sensors on the Tram were tilted to the west a little again. I straightened them and tried to tighten the screw on their mount.
