I arrived with Luis Mendez and Alex Guenther about 10:30am. The sky was overcast and seemed to get a little cooler as the day progressed. There were more flowers than the last time I was out and the grass is still a bit green. There was water in the screw holes of the z-cam enclosure indication recent rain. There was little to no wind.

The purpose of the trip was to show Alex and Luis the site and for them to start to install and isoprene relaxed eddy accumulation system on the top of the tower. I gave them 12VDC from the terminal that the sonic is plugged into.

Alex and Luis will be at the site all the week of June 6-10.

I serviced the z-cams.

I fixed the renaming schedule on the floor computer. The data logger files were getting renamed at 1:15am causing the files to start from 1:30 instead of 0:30. The floor screen was on when I got there.

I swapped out the empty N2 cylinder on the co2 profile system with a fresh cylinder that was stored at the site.

About 1pm just before leaving, I adjusted the height and heading of the sonic and Li7500. Seems the last time we changed the LI7500 for calibration, the post holding the sonic and IRGA was not returned to its usual position.
