Phenology: grass green, seems less grasses but more broad-leaf herbs at Vaira this winter
Summary

1. Vaira Site:

(1) The fence was on but no power. Sebastiaan found that the yellow thing wasn’t touched the pole and the wire was connected to the pole. He fixed it.
(2) Cows got into the equipment area. The high-frequency thermocouple was chewed and broken. All other sensors looked OK.
(3) Saw similar power problem as the floor site: the computer couldn’t finish re-booting process when the screen was turned on. “No signal’ showed on the screen, too. Tried turning off and on power a couple of times. Running when we left.
(4) Data looked no missing.
(5) IRGA swapped: remove sn 0073; install sn 0041.

1. Tonzi Site:

(1) The fence did not work well when we got then. Sebstiaan found the same problem as we saw at Vaira.
(2) Pump for CO2 profile wasn’t running. After I clicked it, it worked but failed again after a few minutes. Taken back the lab.
(3) CO2 tank was 500 psig.
(4) Data looked no missing.
(5) IRGA swapped: remove sn 0065; install sn 0418.
(6) Sebastiaan helped me swapped the shield of Tair and RH sensor on the top of the tower.

1. Floor Site:

(1) The EC system wasn’t running when we got there. Loading Amps was “LOW”. Turn off and on. The system was working again, but still not enough for turning on the screen.
(2) Soil CO2 profile: power problem for running CO2 analyzers.
(3) Data looked no missing.
(4) IRGA swapped: remove sn 0042; install sn 0976.

1. Collected grass sample for LAI at Tower and Vaira

3. Read dendrometers
4. Took spectrometer measurements
