Summary: Call from Jose - field will be disced and planted with wheat

I talked to Jose around 4pm. He said they are discing our alfalfa field and the two fields to our west. The two fields to our east will remain alfalfa, and he is fine with us moving our tower to the alfalfa field to our east.

He said the usual lifespan of the plants is only 5-7 years, but these plants have lasted a little longer but because it's more humid(?) in those fields.

They will be planting wheat this winter. If the wheat grows well, it will be >6ft tall (and be terrible for people with allergies, apparently). They will plant corn next spring, then maybe plant alfalfa again next fall after the corn is done.
