Daphne and I arrived at about 11:30. It was a clear, cool and sunny day. The grass has really started to grow. The cows have mowed the area outside of our fence so the veg height is still only about 10cm, but all the hills look very green. The road is a little dryer than last time but more rain coming in the next few days.

Daphne measured the well and then did spectral measurements. I started adding a new HYGROVUE RH/T sn E5761 sensor to the tower then Daphne finished up the wiring. I will leave the old sensor up until next time. In the data logger program I move the old data to variable with an “old” postfix. The new data in in the original variables. I also tried to update the RevBow stats to fix an error that causes RH to be included twice in the q calculations. I’m still confused on the units. I’m saving both q_avg and q_stdev with and without the additional RH. I also removed the SRS NDVI sensors from the program and Daphne removed them from the tower: incoming sn 1334903221, reflected sn 1234903795 came off.

I collected the met, flux, FD and camera data.
The 7500 read: 424.3ppm CO2, 369.9mmol/m3 H2O, 17.3C, 99.8kPa, 99.3SS
I brushed a few spider webs off the eddy system.

The solar panels were pushed back a little bit again. I lined them up again. The little wooden stakes that help keep the bottom end from sliding are mostly rotten.

I cleaned the radiometers.

The cow fence was intact but the battery seems to be dead. There are a couple of mice living in the battery box.

We went to the pond to check on the CR10X that I think I fixed last time. This time it had complete data since my last visit.
