Dennis, Joe, and I arrived around 15:30 PDT after spending most of our day at Gilbert Tract improving the boardwalk. It was a windy and cool day with fluffy cumulous clouds everywhere. The water level in Mayberry slough is back up to usual levels. One area of the road right by the pipeline is a little rough.

Robert and his eTrac team spent the day at Mayberry doing 12 UAV flights. I believe they are collecting Lidar and high-resolution images. The images have 10 bands total: NIR and then Red, Green, Blue, with RGB each divided into 3 bands. Robert can add more details. We arrived just in time to see them land the last flight. They will be flying at Dutch Slough and Twitchell Island tomorrow and Saturday.

Today was for regular data collection and cleaning since the last visit was 2 weeks ago. The Delta sites have kind of gotten out of sync with the rain delays and coordinating visits with various visitors.

At the tower, we could see a few more cattails on tules on the edges of patches coming up. The staff gauge read 50cm.

I downloaded met, cam, USB GHG, and miniDOT data. We swapped the miniDOT desiccant but not the water level desiccant since it was still 1/3 blue. Joe cleaned the flux sensors and declared the rad sensors clean. He cleaned out some bird poop from the rain bucket funnel and noticed some water remaining in one of the tippers.

We left mothballs in the met box for ants and in the charge controller box for earwigs.

We pulled some pepperweed by our path on the way out--they have impressive taproots!

We left around 16:00 PDT.
