I arrived at 12:35 PDT. It was warm and breezy but still muggy. It was mostly clear with good visibility. Some thunderclouds over the Sierras. The staff gauge read 30cm.

I collected met, cam, and USB GHG data. I cleaned flux and rad sensors. There were spiderwebs already on the methane sensor even though I just cleaned two days ago. I cleaned the spiderwebs and evicted a spider from the 7700 cap. The 7700 wash reservoir was still full.

The live sonic data from the 7700 auxiliary channels had reasonable magnitudes and fluctuations.

The eosGP data amplitude has been getting smaller in the last few weeks, so today I pulled up the floating boom to look at the water sensors. I scrubbed off most of the hairy algae from the eosGP and miniDOT. I also rinsed off many tiny shrimps from inside the eosGP plastic screen. I dropped the gallon jug in the water, which I later fished out with my boot.

When I lowered the floating boom, half of the sensor bodies were out of the water, which I don’t remember noticing when I arrived. I moved the coated wire attachment from the top railing to the bottom railing so there was more slack in the coated wire. I also pulled the boom up again to adjust the eosGP cable so there was more slack and the sensor could hang completely submerged.
