Arrived about 11:30 with Jaclyn and Marga. CHP and tow truck were blocking gate with stolen/abandoned car. Mostly clear, sunny, high clouds, warm, good wind from the west. Pepper weed is in heavy bloom, pollen was thick in the air, Jaclyn and Marga suffering allergies.

Swapped LI7500 at Levee site: 0042 off, 0418 on. Birds have been sitting on tower top. I straightened spikes on the sonic. Data looked fine, did not swap card. There was water on top of the battery box and the ground around the tower was slightly wet. I saw sprinklers running further down the levee. Likely this area around the tower is being irrigated.

At the cow pasture the LGR had been left at 1Hz from calibration last time. I reset it to 10Hz.

I fixed file names of soil moisture, fast radiation, and soil CO2 that was preventing daily file renames. I downloaded all data in the met and soil moisture data loggers, but these being CR10Xs without extended memory, we probably will not fill holes left by previous computer lockups.

Copied data, swapped CR1000 card.
