Summary: Initial setup of this site, solar, eddy, camera, diffuse PAR and much of the met should all be running. Still some work to do.
| Gilbert Tract 2021-09-02 Daphne, Robert, Dennis and I arrived at about 15:30 PDT. This is the initial setup of this site. We moved the all the equipment from the Sherman Wetland site to this new site. This site is on the southeastern edge of the Gilbert Tract of the Dutch Slough Wetland Restoration Project. We followed a dump truck in through the gate. Contractors are working on the breach for the Emerson Tract to the west which will make that parcel tidal. The Gilbert Tract Parcel should also be breached in a month or so. The water level in the wetland is currently close to the high tide mark. We installed the tower and solar power scaffolding at the edge of the water. The towers are on the border of the wetland and the native plants on the slope of the levee. The main tower feet are on cinder blocks and the solar power scaffolding is on broken concrete pieces that we scavenged.
