Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, very windy and cold, new staff gauge with imperial units
2021-08-04 Hill Slough Carlos and I arrived at 7:40 PDT. It was very windy with clear skies and visible fog over the hills and it felt colder than the 16C (60F) that the sensors were reporting. There was a new staff gauge installed on the southern side of the boardwalk. The gauge is in feet and the 4 ft mark is at ground level. There was no water in the ditch under our boardwalk. I downloaded met, camera, and USB GHG data. I downloaded FD data and cleared its memory. Carlos cleaned the flux and rad sensors; the LWin sensor was dirty. We topped off the wash reservoir. LI-7500 readings: CO2 393ppm H2O 600ppm T 15.9C P 101.5kPa SS 100 --> 100 after cleaning LI7700 readings: CH4 1.9ppm RSSI 47 --> 71 after cleaning We left at 8:10 PDT. |

New staff gauge probably installed by CDFW by the Hill Slough enclosure. The bottom of the staff gauge is at 4', which is our approximate elevation asl.
