Summary: Standard fieldwork, removed old soil co2 battery bank.

I arrived at 9:15 PDT. It was clear, sunny and hot with an occasional breeze from the west. There was poor air quality forecasted for Sacramento due to smoke from the fires. Driving up I could see some brown high in the atmosphere and sunlight had a slightly orange cast I thought, but I couldnâ€™t smell any smoke.

I measured the well level and the soil moisture. I collected the met, flux, FD and camera data. All seemed well.
The 7500 read: 422.3ppm CO2, 544.1mmol/m3 H2O, 99.4kPa, 32.0C, 114.3SS
The signal strength is the same as last time but still much higher than at the last calibration.

I brought in the action packer with the four dead batteries from the old soil co2 profile system. I need to check about leaving unused solar panels in the sun.

I left at about 10:00
