Summary: Li-6400, leaf-level A-Ci and LRC measurements

I arrived at 9:00 AM at the tower. The alfalfa was nice and tall (slightly about knee height) and there was a cool breeze throughout the day. The temperature stayed around the 70s. It was rather cold with the breeze. The sky was partially cloudy in the early morning and it got clear after 11 AM. I did measurements in 6 leaves as follows:

1- Aci, LRC
2- Aci, LRC
3- Aci
4- Aci, LRC
5- Aci, LRC
6- LRC

The Aci curves followed this order in CO2 concentrations: 400,300,200,150,100,75,50,400,500,600,800,1000,1300 ppm. The light was kept at 1500 umol m-2 s-1, stomatal ratio=1, and flow=300 mmol/s

The LRC curves followed this order in PPFD: 2000,1500,1000,500,300,200,100,50,20,0 umol m-2 s-1

At the end of each measurement, chlorophyll content was measured and leaves were harvested and taken to the lab.

At the end, I went to the tower and tighten the Li-7700 mount with an Allen wrench.

I left at around 2:30 PM.
