Summary: Standard fieldwork, grasses dead, added PAR sensors to Vaira for future swap, midday water potential

When: Date: 6/12/2019 , Day: 164 , Watch Time: 10:30 am . Where: Tonzi/Vaira Ranch Who: Siyan, Joe and his family; drove separately Weather: clear, sunny, extremely windy Phenology: Summary Swapped memory sticks of Licor-7500A. (Joe) Checked and downloaded phenocam images and met data from PC at three towers. (Joe) Joe installed new PAR sensors at Vaira Read dendrometers (tags may be flipped between 2 and 3, between 7 and 8) Measured soil moisture Measure groundwater well Measure midday water potential of oak leaves Walked to Vaira pond and downloaded data Vaira_Grass Site Fence: electronic off. Downloaded Phenocam images. Swapped the memory stick of Licor-7500A. Checked the fans of air temp and relative humidity sensors at Vaira. YES! Downloaded met data Checked levels of Radiation sensors, clear up surfaces.YES! Checked rain gage, make sure not clogged. YES! Closed gate. YES! Tonzi_Tower Site Fence: electronic off. swapped the memory stick of Licor-7500A. download Phenocam images. Yes! checked the fans of air temp. and relative humidity sensors on the tower and the floor. YES! Checked rain gage, make sure not clogged. YES! Screens of met dataloggers: CR23X3 – floor-Met & soil moisture CR1000 – tower-Met Soil CO2 profile: CR23X5 – soil CO2 profile CO2 profile system (under construction). 8. closed gate. YES!
