Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, sheep have finished grazing our field, trimmed alfalfa under tower, few photos on camera card

Bouldin Alfalfa

Camilo and I arrived at 15:25 PST. It was a clear and cool day with a cold breeze. The sheep have grazed the whole field, and we only saw one group of sheep on the field to our east. There is an especially bare area right around the tower. There were also 2 parallel lines of yellow paint on the ground between the solar panel and the tower—Joe thinks it’s to warn tractors about our underground power lines. Before we left, we trimmed the alfalfa under the tower.

The reservoir was mostly full; we topped it off. I downloaded met, camera, and USB GHG data. Camilo cleaned flux and rad sensors.

LI-7500 readings:
CO2 425ppm
H2O 363ppm
T 17.4C
P 101.9kPa
SS 100--> 101 after cleaning
LI7700 readings:
CH4 2.1ppm
RSSI 45-->79 after cleaning

We left at 15:55 PST.

Back in the lab, there were only a few days of photos on the camera card. Running the card through Recuva did not unearth any new photos. The card is old and should probably be replaced. We’ll have to guess how many days the sheep were on our field.
