Summary: Bermuda grass and pepper weed dead for winter, LGR trailer power down.

Arrived about 9:30. Cold, overcast, a little hazy. Bermuda grass and pepper weed are dead for the winter. Annual grasses are green especially in the southern part of the field. Cows to the far west.

LGR trailer power was down. Breaker at power pole had tripped. Reset with no problem. Data looks like it was only down for about a day – probably ran on batteries for 12 hours or so.

Pressure very low on both LGR systems.

9:40, 1.927ppm, 22.52C, 94.89Torr, 15.029usec

The 2um filter was plugged. I could not clean it and I have now fresh 2um filters. I put in a gelman style PTFE 5-6um filter, but the flow rate is still not quite good enough.

Checked the calibration in slow flow mode @ 58.5Torr, 17.79C the cal gas read true at 1.976ppm. I did not calibrate

Afterwards the LGR read:
10:38, 1.977ppm, 16.79C, 137.77Torr, 14.847usec, 5569.8hr, 10Hz

The external 2um filter on the trailer is new last week and seems okay, but the bypass valve is all the way open and the pressure is still low. Possibly internal filter is plugged. Did calibration @ 138.46Torr, 7.01C in slow flow mode. Pre cal reading 1.889ppm, post cal 1.984. Water and CO2 values were weird (very low) for a while. Maybe cold temperature (7C) from un-powered state caused problems. Afterwards LGR readings:
10:38, 2.1658ppm, 10037ppm, 390.16ppm, 8.22C, 130.42Torr, 12.514usec, 3567.9hr, 10Hz.

Cal tank at 800psi

Copied data and swapped cards.

Changed MD9 renaming for met and soil moisture to 10 to 15 minutes after midnight to try avoid missing last reading of the day.

Radiometer look clean.
