Tower site working but missing 1-2 days data since last visit.

Floor system failure 24-48 hours ago. PC208 screen opened and gillsonic minimized. Close PC208 window and restart PC. Gillsonic initiated.

East side Soil CO2 Profile System (SCPS) had been reconfigured such that the IRGAs and data logger were being powered by 1 battery with 12 volts. The charging system configured to charge a 24 volt battery was charging the 12 volt battery. The Vaisala IRGAs are 24 volt devices. This configuration was corrected by reconnecting the batteries in series for a 24 volt system. Formerly, the CR23x was powered by its own battery that did not have solar charge capability. It is now powered by the lower potential battery of the 24 volt bank.

The west side soil CO2 profile system was not affected by what happened to the east side.

The CR23x at the East side SCPS was not functioning and removed. Another was installed and the system began to give reasonable readings. Repair soil thermocouple for east side # 2.
