Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, wetland greening up, miniDOT/HOBO out of water
| 2019-04-03 East Pond Kyle, Camilo, and I arrived at 11:30. It was an overcast, mild, and calm day; mosquitoes abounded. Kyle went with the hoe to clean out the drain; but there wasn’t much there. Next time we should look at starting to lower the water level. The water level was 48.5 cm. There were patches of tule and cattails coming up green. The Nikon camera was out of batteries so we did not take a reference GCC photo. Kyle cleaned the flux and rad sensors. I downloaded met, camera, USB GHG, miniDOT, and HOBO data. The minidot and HOBO were barely above the water; there were no conductivity numbers because the HOBO had been out of the water. The wash reservoir was ¼ full; we refilled it. There were many wasps in the reservoir box. LI-7500 readings: CO2 408ppm H2O 467ppm T 17.8C P 102.0kPa SS 91--> 97 after cleaning LI7700 readings: CH4 1.9ppm RSSI 7-->68 after cleaning We left at 12:00. |
