Summary: Very wet but ground water still recovering, dead wood fallen, fixed Floor and Road well logging.

I arrived at about 11:00am with Siyan. It was cold and sunny with high thin clouds. The wind was swinging from south to east. The ground is wet with puddles in the low spots. The pond has come up a bunch but is still only about half full. The Sacramento River was muddy and the Cosumnes was running high flooding the nearby fields. The air is very clear â€“ Mt Diablo was visible from the Tower.

Lots of dead wood fall has fallen out of the trees. Another dead tree just north of the Floor tower has fallen over. It had a round tag number 291. Three other dead trees near the Tower have fallen recently and Rob help cut one down near the guy wires a while back.

I collected the data from the Tower and Floor eddy systems. Siyan did the standard field work, collected the met data and serviced the z-cams.

I put a junction box on the outside of the Floor well pipe to replace the patch of the bad solder joints last time. This seems to work well.

I troubleshot the Global Water logger at the Road well. It seems the 9V batteries we have been using have just gotten old and failed. Hooking up a 12V SLA battery, the system seemed to work fine and I was able to collect the data such as it was. I left the SLA in the box but it needs to be checked and replaced.
