Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, tules blown down, no photos, installed eosGP CO2 sensor in water, PTB110 barometer drifting lower
2019-01-18 East End Dennis, Kuno, Camilo, Jiangong, and I arrived at 12:50. It was calm, overcast, and mild. The tules have mostly been blown down. The water level was 45 cm. The upper boardwalk has a crack and needs to be replaced. We topped off the wash reservoir, which was mostly full. Kuno cleaned the flux and rad sensors. I downloaded met, camera, and USB GHG data. I dropped the serial/RS232 cables from the fluxalot laptop in the water, so I ended up downloading the met data to the small laptop with the serial-to-RS232 cable. When we arrived, the camera was off so we had to short the two power wires to turn the camera on. There was only 1 photo on the card from the previous site visit; I checked the camera settings so hopefully there are timelapse photos next time (had to press “print†and then the shutter button to start the intervalometer program). We installed an eosGP CO2 sensor (sn GP20150101, 2% sensor) in the water to replace one we had removed the previous site visit. LI-7500 readings: CO2 415ppm H2O 600ppm T 18.1C P 102.6kPa SS 94-->95 after cleaning LI7700 readings: CH4 2.0ppm RSSI 22 --> 81 after cleaning We left at 13:35. Looking at the data back in the lab, the AtmP from the PTB110 looks like it started to drift low compared to the 7500/7700. We should check this next time. |
