Summary: Downloaded miniDOT data, repalced miniDOT desiccant, swapped HMP60 for HMP45.

2018-08-07

We arrived at 14:41.

Weather was very windy, cool, and the sky was very hazy from smoke and ash.

The water level was 50 cm (noticeably higher than last time, but still dry under the tower).

Daphne downloaded miniDOT data and collected USB and met data. She forgot to swap the camera card, but we'll ask Elke to swap it the following day when she and Patty will be here for 6400 tule measurements.

Robert and Daphne swapped the HMP60 (sn L2310736) for the HMP45 (sn W0730036). The HMP45 is located on the southwest corner of the scaffolding. One lead on the HMP60 fan broke off, so we installed a new 24V fan on the HMP45. She wired the HMP45 as a single-ended measurement in the same mux port where the HMP60 was wired. The HMP60 was reading 22C and 47%, the HMP45 was reading 27C and 44% (more reasonable than 22C).

Robert cleaned the rad and flux sensors. The 7700 had an RSSI close to 0, although Robert didn't see anything obvious besides spiderwebs. Daphne tested the 7700 wash spin and pump and double checked the wash settings, and all seemed ok, so not sure why the 7700 did not auto-wash (there was a wash issue before at BC, but that was a different 7700).

Dennis cleaned the miniDOT and changed desiccant.

We left at 15:50.
