Summary: Decommissioning of the site. Everything was removed from the field.

I arrived at 9am with Daphne. It was clear, sunny and hot with only a light breeze. The weeds are mostly dead and the field looks more like alfalfa than pasture now. We are taking down the site today. Itâ€™s been without power since last week. The infrastructure we will leave at the new Sherman Barn site. The sensors and data loggers will be brought in to be cleaned up and reconfigured to be deployed at the Sherman Barn site.

Daphne collected data from both the met and soil co2 CR1000s and the FD-chamber using a SLA battery to power them.

We left the field empty at 11:30.

Twitchell Alfalfa tower site decommissioning. Ironically, with all the grass/weeds dead, it looks like an alfalfa field again.
