Just a quick Tonzi observation: There are _biblical_ numbers of grasshoppers out there right now that seem to have emerged in the last couple of weeks. I haven't seen anything like it in the few years I have been going out there. I wonder if two wet winters in row have produced really good conditions for them. Also, there seems to be more frogs and I have seen several preying mantis in the past couple of weeks. Our air temp. sensors were reading in the mid-high 40s yesterday! |
