We arrived at 10:45. It was foggy, hazy, and mostly overcast. The alfalfa looks thoroughly chewed.

Kyle took soil respiration measurements and Dennis took veg height measurements. Elke cleaned the rain gauge and tipped it 6 or 7 times ~11:00.
The LI-6400 displayed a 'High Humidity Warning' message the entire time although the knob on the desiccant was turned all the way to scrub. We should probably change the desiccant.

I collected met, soil CO2, camera, and USB GHG data. We used the new field laptop, and I set up the met CR1000 and soilCO2 CR1000 as new stations.

Elke cleaned the radiation sensors and Dennis cleaned the 7500. Dennis checked the HMP fan. It was a 24V fan connected to 12V power (so spinning slowly), so I moved the fan power from the 12V to 24V screw terminal inside the datalogger enclosure. We reattached the HMP shield below the 7500; the new HMP height is 2.7 m.
