Summary: Cleared alfalfa under tower and around solar panels, standard data collection and full suite of fieldwork.

Elke, Kyle, Ada and I arrived about 10:40. It was clear, sunny and warm, a little hazy in the distance and a light breeze. It looks like the clippings from the last mowing were removed from the field recently. The alfalfa was below knee high and looked less vigorous than earlier in the season.

The 7500 read: 376.05ppm CO2, 722.4mmol/m3 H2O, 23.49C, 101.32kPa, 96.3SS â€“ 99.9 after cleaning
No 7700 here now.

Kyle took five clip plots. Ada did spectral and LAI-2200 with the two wand setup. She had problems getting the reference data off the one wand but did some reference measurements with the other wand so should be recoverable.

I cut and removed the alfalfa under the scaffolding. I also tried to clear the alfalfa around the solar system but it was crazy thick and mostly I just pulled it away from solar system. I cleaned the panels and put some moth balls in the battery box. Both the battery box and the charge controller boxes were relatively free of pests.
