Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning

Sherman Wetland

We arrived at 13:30. It was mostly clear, sunny, and windy with gusts up to 7 m/s. The Sherman gate was locked for the first time I had seen (at the junction between roads to Mayberry and Sherman sites). The pepperweed is flowering.

Sam took some measurements. The anemometer measurement center to water surface was 5.42 m. Veg height around the tower from water surface to the top of the plants was 45-50 cm. Since vegetation around the tower and in the rest of the footprint are not similar, these veg height measurements are not representative of the footprint.

I collected the met and USB GHG data and swapped the camera card. Sam cleaned the EC and radiation sensors.

LI7500 readings:
CO2 400.4 umol/mol
H2O 465.1 mmol/m3
T 19.3 Celsius
P 101.7 kPa
SS 101.3 -> 103.4 after cleaning

LI7700 readings:
CH4: 1.99
RSSI: 39.9 -> 72.7 after cleaning

We left at 14:00.
