Summary: Regular data collection, wetland pretty much dead, serviced water sensors, ants in logger box

Arrived at 11:35. It was cloudy and foggy. The water level is still fairly low but seems to have come up a little bit (maybe 5 to10cm). The water is very green and dirty. The vegetation is brown and dead.

We collected USB GHG data, collected met data, collected camera. All looks good.
There were quite a few small black ants in the datalogger box but it didn’t look like they had done any damage (yet). I left 3 mothballs in the box and a fresh ant trap. The ant trap that had been in the box was half filled with ants already. Also tried to seal the wire hole with more putty, but it is hard to really get all those small holes sealed up.

Serviced water sensors, MiniDOT 1220 did not have any data on the SD card. Not sure why that is. Don’t know much about these sensors so I just checked if the SD card was locked (it was not and I left it unlocked) and put it back in. The CO2 water sensor was accidentally removed from the chain when we serviced the MiniDOTs but it was put back in the same place where it sat before.

Refilled wash water reservoir, was fairly empty. Cleaned eddy flux sensors and radiation sensors.

LI7500 readings:
CO2 499.44 umol/mol
H2O 722.8 mmol/m3
T 20.64 Celsius
P 101.64 kPa
SS 88.84 -> 89.7 after cleaning

LI7700 readings:
CH4: 2.48 -> 2.5
RSSI: 36.9 -> 77.5 after cleaning
