I arrived about 12 noon with Siyan. There was Tule fog in the Delta and the Central Valley, but it is clear sunny and warm here. There is almost no wind on the ground and only a light breeze at the top of the tower. The ground is wet with some small puddles and green with new grass. The trees still have some leaves. There were lots of mushrooms pushing up mainly near the base of the trees.

I collected data and serviced the z-cams while Siyan did soil moisture, wells, DBH and clip plots. The moisture point probe near the main tower has two broken pins and no longer works. I think we have one in the lab we can swap in next time.

The CO2 profile system has not been working. The LI-820 path was dirty. I cleaned it and calibrated it. The fourth solenoid was stuck. I moved that channel to the unused sixth solenoid. I also swapped all the inlet filters. The lower filters were dirtier. After all of this, the system seemed to be running well.

I installed a new HMP60 sn L2310711 next to the HMP45 at the top of the tower for comparison. It was connected to the CR23X on SE channels 13 and 14. The program was updated added the AirT and RH to the end of the data file.
