Twitchell Rice
2016-10-06

I arrived about 12 noon. It was clear, sunny and warm with a light breeze from the north. They have started harvesting the rice. The check to the north has been harvested and has sheep fencing around it but I did not see any sheep yet. Our check was partially harvested with a pass along the edges and few more passes on the north side of the field.

I worked on the golden radiometer setup. I collected the data from the last week after the clock offset was fixed. I replaced the CR6 sn 2115 with another CR6 sn 1238 and installed a AM16/32 sn 2113. This was to fully hook up two NR01 4-way net radiometers. NR01 sn 1720 was added to the set up in the first set of data logger channels and the existing NR01 (2420) was connected in the second set of channels. I kept K&Z PAR (140457) and connected it to mux channel 17 and K&Z Pyranometer (060039) to mux channel 19. K&Z PAR sn 140456 and Licor PAR sn Q100421 were removed.

I did not check the main tower, but the camera looked like it was still running.
