Summary: Tried to install compute stick and phenocam, updated CR1000 program.
| East End 2016-09-22 I arrived about 1:30pm. It was mostly sunny and breezy with a few clouds casting shadows at times. I tried to install an Intel Compute Stick with a new Stardot phenocam. I had everything installed but could not get a signal on the Ethernet cable. I need to do more testing in the lab with long Ethernet cables. I pulled everything except the Ethernet cable because I’d have to cut the connectors off to get it out. I reinstalled and restarted the Canon camera. I also reset the clock on the CR1000 met data logger for the radiometer comparison. It was only a couple minutes off. I also updated the CR1000 program adding code to turn control port 8 on and off at sunrise and sunset to control the camera. I collected all the data before uploading the new program. That system could use a cleaned up program and some rewiring. |
