Summary: Replaced boardwalk plywood, sealed leak in data logger box, check sonic heading, new bolt for camera boom.
| Mayberry 2016-04-01 I arrived about 10am. It was sunny and warm. The wetland is beginning to green up. The grass on the levees is very thick and tall. The water level was normal and the water looked very brown. I pulled the two upper boardwalks off the scaffolding, took them apart and replaced the plywood. I only had a small socket wrench. Having a larger socket wrench would make it easier. I checked the sonic orientation. It’s pointed at magnetic north, 14 degrees true. I filled the hole on top of the data logger box with silicon. Hopefully this will solve the problem of water getting in the box. I replaced the bolt for the camera boom with an eye bolt. |
