Summary: Standard data collection, Two probes from Vaira East location brought in one wire chewed. Tonzi tower co2 profile system still down.

When: Date: 1/8/2016 , Day: 8 , Watch Time: 9:20 am . Where: Tonzi/Vaira Ranch Who: Siyan Weather: clear, sunny Phenology: green grasses, oak leaf-off; cows at Tonzi Summary Swapped memory cards of CR1000s at three sites. Everything worked well. Checked and downloaded met data from PC at Tower, Floor, and Vaira. The CO2 profile system was under construction. Checked the soil CO2 probes at Tonzi and Vaira; Vaira east 2cm (sn ) and 4 cm depth probes were out of soil; one of the cable was broken probably due to animals. Read dendrometers Measured soil moisture Measure groundwater well Vaira_Grass Site Downloaded Phenocam images. Swapped the memory cards of CR1000. Checked the fans of air temp and relative humidity sensors at Vaira. YES! Downloaded met and soil CO2 profile data: Checked levels of Radiation sensors, clear up surfaces.YES! Checked rain gage, make sure not clogged. YES! Closed gate and set up fence. YES! Tonzi_Tower Site Fence and gate power: 12 v. Downloaded tram from PC. YES! swapped the memory cards of CR1000. download Phenocam images. Yes! checked the fans of air temp. and relative humidity sensors on the tower and the floor. YES! Checked rain gage, make sure not clogged. YES! Checked CO2 profile: wasnâ€™t running for upgrading. 8. closed gate and set up fence. YES! Toniz_Floor Site Fence and gate power: 12 v. Swapped the memory cards of CR1000. Turn on PC and downloaded met data from PC. YES! CR23X3 â€“ floor-Met, CR23X6 â€“ tower-Met, CR10X2 â€“ floor-Met, Soil CO2 profile: CR23X5 â€“ soil CO2 profile 4. Closed gate and set up fence. YES!
