Summary: Installed water pressure, change 23x program, computer lock ups, clip plots.

5-21-2009 Arrived about 1:30, clear, sunny, hot, very light breeze. Installed water pressure/level sensor and changed 23x program to capture both pressure and temperature from the probe. The bottom of the well was just barely wet, maybe only a mm or so of water. We will have to make some manual measurements of the water table to check the offset of the sensor. The measurement point of the sensor is approximately 120cm below the top of the pipe or 105cm below the ground surface. The computer was locked up again. I discovered that the computer’s internal fan was not plugged in. Fixed this. Hopefully, getting too hot will explain some of the lock ups and restarts that are causing problems. I harvested three plots of rice seedlings and any weeds for LAI. The rice is planted in rows about 4 inches apart. Our standard LAI plot square fit neatly over two rows. |
