Summary: Changed CR23x program, removed soil moisture/heat fluxes; T/RH sensor was dead for a few days.
| March 15, D74 Visited Vaira Ranch ~1000. Battery voltage is looking good. Since Ted took off the sealed lead acid battery we seem not to experience the large diurnal swing in voltage. Changed CR23x program. Took off outputs of soil moisture and soil heat flux. Those sensors had been put back on the cr10x when it was repaired and were blank or junk as of recently. The change starts around 1400. T/RH sensor was dead. It has been dead for a few days. We need to regress good T data with Tsonic to provide an estimate of air temperature for the met station and for correcting the WPL fluxes. We also need to regress the LI-COR 7500 humidity out put with the RH value to replace those data too. Bird crap on pyranometer, cleaned it around ~1200 Downloaded data. Put spikes on sonic to keep birds off. Tu/Ponti et al conducting overnight respiration study Took 4 samples of plant matter. Cows are keeping the grass short. But some grass is taller near fresh cow patties, Grass in enclosure is starting to grow as soil is warming. Some wild flowers are blooming in region. We forgot to swap out irgas. Needs to be done next week. |
