Summary: Finished solar panels to generate power; unable to start flux system.
| Arrived at 1430 Tasks finished Solar panels are generating power. Coax cable run to tower and floor systems. Encased in pvc Reset span of LI 7500 for CO2. 0 to 5 volts is 10 to 25 mmol m-3 Brought power cable for sonic Started PC and flux system. Cable on the A/D seemed bad for ch 1. We could not get a signal out. We need to swap cables and repair this one. Unable to start flux system. Installed ground rod. System needs grounding. Next time bring 1) new sonic cable 2) box for batteries 3) extra pvc to run coax cable to Nancy's sapflow 4) install extra and deeper soil moisture sensors 5) start flux systems and tie in MD9s. 6) transfer tower to site |
