I arrived with Siyan about 11:30. It was mild and sunny but a little hazy with little to no wind. The grasses here seem much greener than last time. The last storm doesnâ€™t seem to have brought much rain here as the ground is relatively dry. No cows visible, but from the top of the tower, I saw a truck and trailer go by with giant bales of alfalfa. The cow fences were okay.

The compute stick at the tower seemed to wake up and everything was running but much of the data from the last week was not recorded. It is set never to go to sleep but there still might be some kind of sleep problem. There was also a problem with the daily renaming program that overwrote the same file each day. I think I need to set one up in the lab to test and watch. So we lost a week of Phenocam images, and most of the Tram data. The CO2 profile system was not running.

I replace the LED sensor on the top of the tower.

I checked on the co2 profile system trying to decide whether to pull it out and rebuild it or try patching it up in place. The tubing connection to the pump was broken and I could not fix it. This might have been partly the cause of the low flow rates. I tried to test the flow of each tubing run but the connection to the pump made the results questionable. Iâ€™m still undecided.

I patched the wire to z-cam 2 again. I need to replace this run. It needs four conductors.

The window on z-cam one was loose and there was some condensation inside. We wiped out the condensation, added some desiccant and stuck the window back on with some putty. It needs some better glue next time.

The window on Z-cam three also came off when Siyan was cleaning it. We stuck this one back on with some liquid electrical tape. Again, this probably could use some more glue next time.
